Our Background
Charlotte Didonato and Dave Norris are both originally from Ashtabula Ohio, and settled in Athens in the early 90’s. They have been serving the Athens community ever since; Charlotte as a nurse and Dave as a worker-owner at Casa Nueva for nearly 20 years.
Our Mission
Town’s End Coffee aims to be your specialty coffee pit stop. Our drinks start with relationship sourced coffee beans and are made by combining quality equipment with attention to detail to provide the best cup possible.
Our roasters and source of caffeinated enthusiasm are Alicia and Mike Love, who both have nearly 20 years of experience in the coffee business. Mike is a decorated barista and has placed in 25+ competitions including the Ultimate Barista Championship and has traveled the world doing so. In 2013, Coffee Labs took second place for America’s Best Espresso with their blend (and our house espresso) called Circus Dog. Coffee Labs is focused on sustainability and quality, and to do so has formed bonds with farmers all over the world. The result is relationship coffee, which guarantees both consistency and ethical sourcing of their product, while providing sustainability for the small farms they work with.
